The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is an excellent resource during this time for up to date information regarding COVID-19. Our team here at Provisions Health wants to share some of their important facts and recommendations!

COVID-19 is thought to spread mainly through close contact from person-to-person in respiratory droplets from someone who is infected. People who are infected often have symptoms of illness. Some people without symptoms may be able to spread virus. It may also be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. Maintaining 6 feet of social distance and frequently washing your hands are crucial in preventing further spread of the virus.

If you are self quarantining or working from home the CDC recommends that you:
-Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media.
-Take deep breaths, stretch, or meditate
-Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals
-Exercise regularly, get plenty of sleep
-Connect with friends and family
